About Us
Frontier AI is a high-schooler-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Pittsburgh, PA. Founded by David Mao, Aditi Motha and Ariel Yin, they aim to spread awareness and knowledge about rising AI technologies in the modern world. We believe that AI isn’t just for scientists or tech companies. It’s for everyone who wants to understand the future. Our classes are designed for students who want to get ahead of their school curriculum, deepen their understanding of technology, and explore real-world applications of AI. From coding basics to machine learning concepts, we focus on making complex topics easy to understand, exciting to learn, and meaningful to apply. We help students build the skills and confidence they need to innovate, create, and lead in the world of tomorrow.
Our Vision
At Frontier AI, we know what it’s like to sit in class wanting something more: more challenge, more creativity, and more ways to connect what you’re learning to the real world. That’s why we built a space where students can explore AI in a way that feels exciting and personal. We are run by high schoolers who share the same curiosity, drive, and questions as the students we teach, so we understand what it takes to make learning both fun and meaningful. Here, you are not just memorizing facts; you are building projects, solving problems, and discovering how you can use technology to make an impact. Frontier AI is not just about learning the future; it is about creating it together.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming space where students from all backgrounds feel encouraged and supported as they explore their natural curiosity, engage with challenging new ideas, and collaborate with one another to find meaningful solutions to real-world problems through the power of technology. We believe that by fostering this kind of environment, we can inspire a lifelong love of learning, innovation, and teamwork. Our goal is to witness the growth of a generation of young innovators who not only embrace creativity and critical thinking but also lead with empathy and compassion. These future leaders will help build a world where technology is used for everyone to thrive.
